A little bit about me - My name is Kate. I work and live in Somers Point, NJ. I am an on-location photographer, meaning you pick the time and your favorite location and I come to you! I also bring the “studio” to you! People are most comfortable in their own environments - especially young children. I am easy-going and relaxed. I strive to accommodate your needs and wants, and I will work with you to achieve the best results.
I also offer Birth Announcements and cards - and I am known for coming up with a few of my own designs for different people and their specific needs…Just ask me!

In the beginning of August, I had the chance to go to beautiful Washington State to see one of my good friends, Rachael…her husband Eric, and her awesome 18 month old son Alden. I had a blast while I was there, and I was so glad to get the opportunity to do a little session with Rachael and her family at the gorgeous Olympic National Park! I will share a few of my favorites. Thank you to Rachael and Eric for a great time!

Kaptured By Kate Photography is now offering the newest collection, where it’s cool again to be SQUARE! “Hip to be square” captures your child(ren)’s personality in each portrait that is taken. What you are shown, is each photo in square format. A 20X20 mounted collage print will be available to purchase at the introductory price of $75.00. After the special, the cost will increase to $125.00, so if you are interested, make sure to book your session before June 9, 2009!

Sunday was a beautiful day for some pictures in the park. I don’t think we could have asked for better weather. And a plus – the HUGE magnolia tree was in bloom! Thanks to the Smith Family for a great day – you guys are soo nice, and so easy to work with! It was so nice finally meeting you!! Here are a few of my favorites from the session:
